Devon PR photographer Guy Harrop goes glamping on edge of Exmoor with his camera for new brochure

International award winning Devon photographer Guy Harrop goes glamping with his camera and lights for new brochure.

" I love camping and the outdoors, wood stoked fires with candlelit evenings, so the chance to shoot a new brochure for a luxury glamping company on the edge of Exmoor really did tick all the boxes. Childhood memories under canvas flooded back - but what did I need to bring -nothing!! Glamping is luxury camping and Longlands Devon near Combe Martin is a hidden gem. It is luxury, very clean and everything is provided from towels and coffee to food. Not only does it look amazing, the owners are great fun and the attention to detail inside and out is beautiful. The lodges nestle in a peaceful English green valley surrounded by woodland and hills, where the skies are bright and the sunsets seem to linger forever. The beds are comfortable with gentle duvets and the woodburner keeps you warm at night. My wife and I had an amazing candlelit dinner as the sun set slowly over the Bristol channel. The next morning I was awoken by birds and nearby lambs and the smell of fresh croissants. There is a well stocked larder on site and lots of delicious dishes to choose from cooked by the lovely owner Bella. We live in such a technology run world, to actually sit and enjoy the peace and quiet countryside charms under the stars felt bliss." Guy Harrop

Italy's charm captivates the travelling photographer

Travelling to Italy with a couple of cameras, you cannot help but fall in love with the countryside. It has so much charm and warmth. The ever changing colours in the light, sunflowers and vineyards as far as the eye can reach. Time stands still as dogs bark and old folk gather in the village squares to chatter about their daily goings on. Bright yellow fields of sunflowers rise and fall in the heat of the day.

food photography growing from the ground to the table

Food photographer Guy Harrop has been in the greenhouse growing lettuce again this year. Not only are they delicious to eat, freshly picked in salad from the ground to the table but they are beautiful to photograph too. Here are some stock images shot for a food client.
